When I started middle school everything changed for me. The teachers started to use complex words and equations to describe things in science and math.

I was not used to this. In elementary school, they used pictures and models. I understood models better than complex words. Why?

Because humans are visual learners, we were not supposed to learn with words. Back in the olden days, They showed you how to do things, not tell you.

The whole education system has fixed our thinking process.

Back to the story. I found it hard to keep up using the traditional system. So I said screw it, and I went back to my old way of using pictures and models to learn. I started to understand concepts more and my grades increased.

This can also be used to be successful outside of school. Money, sports and you name it.

I know it isn’t always easy to transition to this way of thinking as you have been fixed for years.
