Rome was the most powerful empire the world had ever seen. Rome was an empire of wealth, power and control. The most fierce fighters that brought fear in any opponent.

But how did they fall? How did a 1000-year empire suddenly just fall? …

Laziness and lack of masculinity.

Romans began to be lazy. They thought that they had everything.

They let their guard down. Which allowed the goths to disassemble the empire from the outside and inside.

This bad habit led to the fall of the mighty roman empire.

Are you lazy? Not disciplined? Have no drive?

It could be from the bad habits you have been doing. Today I am going to tell you some bad habits you need to stop doing NOW and how to fix them.

  1. Mindless scrolling

Be honest. Did you mindlessly scroll on Tiktok or Instagram? Mindlessly scrolling is a huge time waster. A lot of people say that “I can learn a lot from TikTok”. Well, that is bullshit. The reason it’s called mindlessly scrolling is because you are mindless. You won’t remember anything you see. Proof? Then tell me one useful thing you saw on TikTok. Or if you even remember anything at all.

How to fix:

A great way to stop mindlessly scrolling is to set a time limit. Even though you can just unlock the time limit, you will be aware of how much time you are spending scrolling. This hopefully, can spark some change in your device usage habits. Another way, is to do productive things on social media. For example: If you have a small business, try marketing on your social media. Put your account to good use.

  1. Unhealthy eating

Junk food is the ultimate gain-killer. It will also worsen your mood and energy levels. Getting the right foods will give us the correct nourishment to use as energy, to recover and think. Although eating healthy is the way, you can still enjoy a slice of pizza every couple of weeks. It’s the awards/treats in the end that motivate us.

How to fix:

Eat mostly whole foods with only one ingredient. A great dinner could be a steak with some sauteed veggies. Something that hits all the macronutrients. Also, USE SPICES. Most people say that healthy food is boring but the solution is to season and spice it well. Try seasoning your bland chicken breast with some garlic powder or paprika. You will notice a big difference.

  1. Inconsistent sleep

Sleep is what recharges our bodies. It’s also when we heal from any sort of injury. So a bad sleep schedule is like unplugging the charger for your iPhone. Inconsistent sleep is linked to more stress and cortisol which lowers your testosterone. Sleeping well during the night will make you feel more energized during the day to tackle your goals.

How to fix:

Set a fixed time on when you have to be in bed. It should be pretty reasonable such as 10 pm. Next, set a time when you can easily wake up by. This doesn’t mean setting it super early. Also, when you wake up, open your curtains and lights. Let any type of light get into your eyes. This will make you more awake and set your circadian rhythm.

  1. Smoking and vaping

Lots of people use smoking to “calm down”. Fun fact, the cigarette doesn’t actually calm you down. It’s the action of deep breathing that does. It goes for vaping too but people apparently experience a fuzzy feeling as they breathe in.

There is no easy way to quit. The only way to be disciplined and not give in to temptations. Your lungs are what bring oxygen into you. So take care of them.

  1. Frequent masturbation

Every time you ejaculate, your testosterone goes down for a while. It can take hours or days to fully regenerate your sperm and testosterone. Ejaculating frequently makes you lose testosterone quicker than you can produce. No one wants that to happen. Hold your sexual energy in and use it to power yourself to your goals.
